As some of you may or may not know you are not supposed to ice for more than fifteen to thirty minutes. The Themalon Heat-Cold pad works great. I recently had back surgery and bought several brands of ice packs. This is one of the strongest and longest lasting designs I have seen even built better than the Cool Pack which an excellent prodcut. The Themalon Heat-Cold Ankle pad worked great for my back and the iced feel last at least thirty minutes. My daughter twisted her ankle and we used it for that too - the velcro strap that comes with the ice pack was awesome for the ankle. You cannot go wrong with this product. It will last many years. Other products I have tried that also contain the clay like substance inside have had a tendency to crack open and the contents of the ice pack would leak out within a year of use. I use this ice pack daily and it shows no ware or tear. Price is awesome and as always ebay was quick to get the product delivered to my door step. In short you cannot go wrong with this product.
