These work great for my bedroom! I get migraines so I needed something I could pull and block all the light. With these drawn you literally can’t determine if it is day or night! I don’t think they muffle sound like they claim, but that is understandable. I do think there are some insulation but since it was summer it was harder to test. I will get a better idea come winter.If the solid color puts you off, you can always do what I did and get a cut of fabric and swag it. I used lace to make it a bit more light and feminine but you could really do any fabric you wanted.
