Best I've tried so far. Works well with my Dell UltraSharp U3011 - 30" via HDMI to DVI cable. Just using regular HDMI isn't as good as the resolution for some reason, but so was Apple's proprietary adapter, and I think I should be able to get by with the Macbook itself. I like having an extra USB port , but there is a downside. The USB ports do not have enough power to run the Apple CD Superdrive. The Apple adapter, with only one USB, could power it. USB ports work, although for external hard drives, discs and flash drives are fine. If you don't care about a CD drive, I'd prefer the Apple branded drive, which costs more money and a USB port less.
