Thoroughly tested, very unreliable system. You can do a lot better for less money.

After two months of trying to use the latest and greatest Netgear ORBI 6 system in my messy 6,000 square foot office. Feet, I wrapped it up and sent it back to Revain. The coverage and speed of this system was excellent when it was running. This should have been the case since all the satellites were connected to the router via Ethernet. However, the system was unusable due to an ongoing accidental disconnect from my ISP, often multiple times a day. Spectrum ISP services have been carefully checked by highly competent technicians and have always been within specifications. When these outages occurred, internet service was always available directly through the modem, with the exception of the router, even if ORBI reported no internet when connecting or reconnecting. I replaced this unreliable system with an installed TP Link DECO X-20 system a few weeks ago. in the exact same places and connected directly to the ethernet. Coverage and speed were indistinguishable from ORBI. The DECO X-20 system has been working flawlessly with no (0) interruptions since installation. ORBI disconnected from the modem several times a day under identical circumstances and reported the lack of internet, requiring a service outage and a mandatory restart. remained locked to another distant satellite, affecting Wi-Fi performance. This has never happened before with the DECO system under the same conditions of use. I easily added a Netgear wireless access point to the DECO network to extend the service to a back office. It works well, although technically it's not part of the mesh system. The defunct Netgear technical support, already adequately addressed by many others. At best, I was referred to published material, which of course I had already read and understood before contacting them. Their "support" was the worst of any tech company I've dealt with in years. I am very happy with DECO's performance and software. Remarkably, it only cost about 30 percent of what I previously paid for what was supposedly the best ORBI in the line. I am also very pleased with how Revain handled the return of this defective unit which simply did not live up to its advertising.
