Achieve decent speed and uptime for over a week after installation. The installation instructions did not help me. Requires a call to xfinity to set it up. I'm not sure what the problem is, but it took several attempts to get the modem to work. I spent about an hour on the phone with the xfinity tech but she didn't give up or give up. She knew exactly how to set up data and voice. There was no need to speak to different people as other reviewers suggested. She also knew that the Mac's data and voice addresses were sequential, so only the data was needed.
