We have a 2016 Nissan Altima with very noisy factory pads, especially when reversing. My wife kept saying how much she hated that sound so I decided to replace them with aftermarket pads. Shortly thereafter (less than a week later), the noise returned. I got so frustrated that I started looking online for the best rubbers. I found a YouTube video (Scotty Kilmer's channel) that recommended Akebono pads if you're tired of the loud brakes. I tried and they worked! It's been three months and they're still calm. Lost some traction under braking, but not much. It's worth it.
