2013 Ram 1500: Spare parts

First of all, the dampers fit and work great! I measured the ground clearance on the wheel housing before starting. A good driving pressure for this type of truck is 40 lbs. With a height of 38 inches from the ground to the top of the wheel arch. The wobbly way the Dodge has a mounting point on top of the shock will have you swearing! If you have a 6 inch crescent shaped adjustable wrench then this is what you need. Whoever designed this particular anchor point should be punched behind the woodshed! The only other major issue I had with these shocks was that there wasn't enough air to work properly. And by right I mean managing the lines so that they are nice and tidy and don't get in the way of future expenses. I'm not sure why the line was short when I entered all the information about my truck these lines should be correct. This is a 2 door room with an 8 inch bed. You get 10 feet of line and that's just not enough. Of course I'll know that after I start making a line of punches. I ran to my local NAPA store and they had a kit that fixed it. Part number AK29. You get two lines, and they have pre-installed fittings that attach directly to the inlets on the shock tube. It was an unexpected bonus. They cost me an extra $21 and it sucks! Just add this kit to your shocks and nobody should have a problem. I gave them 4 points because of the short lines. And a score of 4 for value. I would pay a little more to have the correct line lengths and these fittings. This issue needs to be fixed. AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE!
