Review on Barista Warrior Stainless Steel Pour Over Kettle with Thermometer - Perfect Temperature Control for Coffee & Tea - Gooseneck Spout - Kitchen & Dorm Essential (1.0 Liter, 34 fl oz) by Chris Quinto

A good kettle but there is a potentially dangerous problem

In general the kettle is reliable. The handle feels a little cheap, but the rest of the kettle feels solid. There's just one problem: the lid. The lid is designed in such a way that it practically "sticks" when closed properly. That would be fine for most other products, but there are a few problems here: 1. This thing is filled with boiling water (and will burn itself). If you need to remove the lid for any reason, there is a risk of water splashing/spilling as a lot of force is required to remove the lid. Not to mention, if you need to hold the top for extra pouring control, you'll also need to use a kitchen pot holder or something else. This point in itself was my biggest complaint and the reason why I feel uncomfortable using this kettle.2. Since the thermometer (a great feature, btw) is on the lid and acts like a handle, it means you have to push and pull a lot (and as mentioned, it takes some effort to place/remove the thermometer). Lid). I'm a little worried about the durability of the thermostat. Nevertheless, I give the kettle 4 stars despite the return. It's still a solid kettle and does exactly what it's supposed to do. My fears are mostly related to my personal issues and I'm sure there are many people who won't mind these things. Not to mention that I've always had good experiences with Barista Warrior.
