Review on 🔧 Enhanced MSD 8416 Distributor Cap and Rotor Kit by Jimmy Jefferson

I have used MSD caps and rotors in the past and am delighted with the look and quality. However, I replaced my working NAPA Echlin HEI cap and rotor with this MSD as part of a setup and ran into a problem I couldn't get rid of. Also, I started getting tons of radio interference on my car radio etc. Then I went and bought a new NAPA Echlin cover and rotor and the whoola problem was solved. I suspect it could either be some sort of micro-crack that I couldn't spot, or the fact that they don't come with a dielectric grease that can be used between the coil and cap to isolate energy leaks. IF you decide to use this cap and rotor, get some dielectric grease to use on the insulating rubber washer.
