This is a good compact hour meter. To connect it, just connect the wire that is "hot" when the switch is on and the other to ground. Connectors are marked with standard electrical symbols. Fastening is simple, the mechanism is rectangular, small flanges protrude on both sides, in which holes are drilled. If I remember correctly, the #8 mounting screw fits snugly and tightly in the hole. It's working well so far, but time will tell how well it withstands vibration. 4 stars because it works well and seems to keep the right time, all in a nice compact device. I'm hesitant to give anything 5 stars without knowing how durable it will be, but so far I can't think of anything to complain about.
