I bought this item to have a manual grease gun for basic greasing jobs around the home and personal vehicles. I've since bought a cordless shotgun. This pistol performs basic greasing work adequately, but has some minor flaws. Gun seals leak easily during storage and after heavy use. When a new hose is installed. I left the gun after use and after about 2 weeks the primer and top seal started to lose grease. While this isn't enough to cause a loss of flow or a mess, the leaks are still there and annoying. The fittings supplied with the gun mate with most vehicle fittings and do not require additional pressure to hold the fittings. I would say this gun is suitable for basic lubrication but not for high pressure or marine applications. The price is reasonable for what you get. But honestly I expect more for my money than I got.
