First off, it's not 8000psi, it's 7000. That's what the instructions that come with it say. Second, the internal rubber seal came loose on first use and the device hasn't worked properly ever since. It still works, but not 100%. Those issues aside, it seems like a worthy tool and worth the price.

This is the worst grease gun I've ever used. The grease gun head attaches to the body and unscrews the piston side. The spring retaining clip does not restrain the butt when loading, making loading nearly impossible. It's horribly constructed, even after the gun is loaded the hose fitting is too tight. Spend the extra $10 and get a quality tool, not that bullshit.

Bad design. The barrel is a few thousandths too small and most grease hoses will NOT fit. The mainspring sits very firmly in the barrel and is very difficult to re-engage when loading. It's a nice tool, but otherwise useless. Not recommended. Edit: The barrel is not round, either due to manufacturing issues or damage in transit. Without this problem it might have been a better tool.

Looks like a well made grease gun. Received in the mail, assembled, filled a tube of grease and greased the front of the truck. Worked well and seems sturdy. The only thing I will knock is that the description says this gun is 8000 psi but the box it comes in says 7000. I don't care as I will only be using it to service their cars , but I think it should be remembered. With a quality as good as this grease gun, I'd definitely say it's worth spending $2-3 more on it than a cheap port freight…

Loading the grease cartridge proved quite a challenge as the clip designed to keep the lid in the locked position when you release the spring pull back doesn't make it stay locked. It will either slowly slide down once you pull it back, or it will release WITHOUT WARNING when the spring is fully charged. He did this a couple of times, almost breaking my ankles once. I followed the instructions on T so not sure if mine is faulty or if I'm just doing it wrong, but I wouldn't buy or recommend it…

I bought this item to have a manual grease gun for basic greasing jobs around the home and personal vehicles. I've since bought a cordless shotgun. This pistol performs basic greasing work adequately, but has some minor flaws. Gun seals leak easily during storage and after heavy use. When a new hose is installed. I left the gun after use and after about 2 weeks the primer and top seal started to lose grease. While this isn't enough to cause a loss of flow or a mess, the leaks are still there…

Describe the biggest problem I had with this gun. The couplers that come with the gun are very tight. In fact, they are so tight that after fitting the sleeve to the transom mount and lubricating it, I was NOT able to remove the sleeve and BROKE the mount. It's not much fun to pull out the inner part (threaded part) that was still in the original place when the threads were at an angle. -Lube or HFT or whatever you can.
