I ordered these rivets for under car repairs I was doing on a 15 year old car. I often use aluminum for exterior applications but due to the environment the rivets were in I needed extra corrosion resistance (I live in Ohio near Cleveland and we have very severe winters with very harsh conditions including some massive ones) . use of salt by street workers). I recently worked on this car and finished the work. I would also like to mention that I checked prices with the main local hardware suppliers before ordering from Revain. The blue shop had no stainless steel rivets. The Orange Store had them, but the price was exorbitant - $0.76 each. I paid about $0.10 at Revain for the same rivets. Big price difference! The only problem I had was that with these rivets it was VERY difficult to finish pulling the rivets and snapping the shaft into place (and they were only 1/8 inch). Maybe I'm just getting used to aluminum (or maybe I'm just getting a little older and weaker since I last used 304 stainless steel). In any case, these rivets did the trick for me and I'm optimistic there won't be any more corrosion underneath the car where these rivets were used. was fast even though I don't use Revane Prime. If I have to, I will go this route again!
