Arrived later than expected. Works a little over a month. Replaced an existing lease from Century Link. I haven't noticed anything other than that I don't have to pay them for a modem every month. The modem isn't a huge problem as it only connects to an HP Envy laptop and doesn't require any other devices to be serviced or relayed. I have very little experience connecting these devices and have relied on the help of a friend who works as a field engineer for a cell phone company. My burning question about this device is why was the person's name already in the password section when we activated it? That? My friend was also curious. I didn't disagree, but perhaps the seller could have responded instead of making me assume they received a "refurbished" unit and not the new one I paid for? 3-star rating based on no noticeable performance change and a question about the name in the password section Performance update or lack thereof. It failed completely 1 year and 3 months after installation. I would not recommend this device to anyone. See my comments to see if it was indeed new when purchased as advertised. Maybe my suspicion was correct. It is best to stay away from the product and possibly the seller.
