Review on Shinwa Japanese Combination Square by Ashwin Drollinger

I thought it was a Japanese square as in Made in Japan. So I was very surprised that the square was made in China. A previous review said they were as accurate as typewriter squares (+/- 0.0002). No exit. When I compared it to my Incra Guaranteed Square, it looked odd to me. My neighbor is a retired locksmith, he helped me measure, he measured 0.007 inch which I believe is a 1/10 degree packaging specification. Square so I didn't send it back. That's about $10 more than the square of the Swanson's speed. However, it's more accurate than speed squared out of the box and feels good. I just wish it was made in Japan and a little more accurate.
