I had to replace the motherboard twice due to lightning strikes so my computer was running very slow and I couldn't do anything without a clock. The motherboards I replaced it with weren't as good as they claimed, but they made my computer usable. Got this to try and make my computer run faster and play the Sims 3 again, it did what I needed. I can open files faster than the turtle speed I've been using, play Sims 3 with my two biggest expansion packs setting seasons and pets, there's also ambition and late night. That really helped me, now all it needs is a better graphics card.
