Converted my 1970 Buick Skylark into a wired version. Installed this on a stock Buick 350 while installing a distribution point conversion. I did this 3 days before leaving for the 2015 Power Tour. The round trip was 3600 miles in 10 days from Northern Wisconsin to New Orleans and back. I'm happy to say that this generator rose to the challenge. The car may be old but with a laptop, CB, 3 cell phones and a modern radio drawing power every time the drive is delayed this alternator didn't let me down, it didn't even chirp or chirp. At the end of the season I had over 6,000 miles on the generator with no problems. As my car collection grows, I can only imagine returning here. Thanks for the reliability!
