Great for flat watercolor fills, but tears terribly.
I received a set of this paper in an artwork gift box and it worked very well and held watercolors well. It was easy to make good flat fills and I was able to touch up the colors easily. The only downside is that the top layer of paper tears very easily. Dipping pens will tear the top layer and cause bleeding underneath, making it cloudy and blurry. The masking liquid applied before or after applying the paint will tear the paper after it dries. It's a great paper if you paint exclusively with watercolors and only watercolors, but if you're more of a mixed media artist then it won't be the best.
