DOA, turned on for about half a second, then passed out, took out another Corsair PSU with the same wattage, put all the same parts in, it worked fine. It's worth saving money on some things in a budget build, the PSU doesn't seem to be one of those parts. Go for Corsair or EVGA, everything I've ever bought has lasted over 10 years and after going through several different builds they are well made and worth the extra effort.
