Review on Derale 16738 Single Stage Electric Fan Controller, Black - 180°F Temperature Control by David Bott

I had some doubts about this product due to some negative reviews I read. I have followed the instructions. Had taken the time to double check everything and everything works as it should. In addition to the battery, I ran a hot wire from the back of the car's fuse box (Radio One) and installed a 3 amp fuse to the thermostat in the radiator. I found a 10 blade fan on ebay for $30 and it works great. (performance by Barnett). When the engine is off and the key is turned to the accessory, the fan will run for about 4 minutes and that's it. I have a 192F thermostat in the engine set as it should and everything is the same and/or a degree or two colder when the coolant temperature is modulated. without completely removing the cooler. This facilitates access to the mounting bars.
