the best you can buy in this price range

This is one of the oldest, if not the oldest, cast iron skillet manufacturer in the United States. These are quality kitchen appliances that, with proper care, will most likely last you the rest of your life. They are pre-seasoned. It's worth watching the video on You-Tube and learning how to season and reseason a cast iron skillet (it's really very easy). You can also find out more about care and cleaning of your pan on YouTube, as incorrect handling can cause rust spots. But don't worry, these things are built like tanks. again. like new. When properly seasoned, it has a natural "non-stick" finish. If it starts to stick again, season again. YouTube will explain everything. Get ready for fragrant dishes and even cooking. Great for steaks! I like 12" the best food for 2/3, but 10" is great for small tasks (1/2 meal) and 8" is good for even smaller tasks (small food for one like filet mignon or a small ribeye ). ).

Pros
  • MADE IN USA. Lodge has been making cast iron pans in South Pittsburgh, Tennessee (population 3,300) since 1896. With over 120 years of experience, they are known for their quality design, durability and cooking versatility.
Cons
  • Vulgarity
