They are good upon completion
They are good upon completion. But take my advice and start collecting them days before the party. Each thread must be separated. Since it's basically a cloth wrap, the thread is guaranteed to snap if you try to cut it by working too fast. It took my friend and I about 3 hours to properly assemble a strand. Also, gold and pink (the best colors) only have ONE leaf each. So each of these two colors looks much thinner than the other.
