Review on 🪚 Craftsman Dual Action Sander - 10000 RPM by Joshua Albright

This is a much nicer looking tool than I expected from Craftsman. It's big and heavy, with a smooth surfaced disc that works with rolls of sticky sanding pads. There's a plastic speed controller and a comfortable soft rubber grip, but most of the plastic is just an outer coating on a mostly metal tool. I am very happy with this body sander and it is a workhorse but it uses a lot of air and my compressor is running even at 90psi most of the time I am using it. The speed is good and the machine is powerful enough for rough sanding and rust removal, but it does a really good job with higher grits to sand down the primer before hand sanding. It's so much better than my old central air grinder, I'm so glad to ditch that thing and go with a corded grinder because it was more reliable. This grinder works great, and other than requiring a 20-30 gallon tank or larger to use it for more than a small panel, I really can't think of anything negative to say about it. I'm really impressed with some of the new Craftsman air tools that have come out recently. Time will tell how they hold up in the long run but they appear to be well made and I think the plastic cover is a smart idea to protect the tool from being dropped and dragged around in the magazine.
