Review on Leveling KSP 2004 2016 Spacers Warranty by Jacob Richardson

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good quality, well made. Satisfied so far, but time will tell.

It seems to be a decent level. It was installed within 2 months. Pros: Good quality All hardware included Installation wasn't terrible. Had a few issues (explain later) Finish seems permanent Cons: Installation was deeper than I was hoping for. Had to rotate the strut 180 to reinstall unfortunately had to. It's not hard to do, but it just takes more time. This kit has a 2.5 inch level which is actually more than you need. It was 1 inch too much for me and now I'm squatting on my truck for a bit. It is 1 inch lower at the back than the front. The looks don't irritate me, but I wanted to fit a flat, non-inverted rack. You just need to know and after installing this kit you need to do the alignment as soon as possible. .Update from 01.05.19. Downgraded to 3 stars. Some time after I got this kit I am still happy with it. I have some other problems. 1. Now I am getting IWE noise and this seems to be common on these trucks with wheel alignment kits installed. I'm trying to figure out how to solve this problem. Problem 2. This alignment kit is 0.5 inch larger than these axles. With a 2.5" leveling kit installed, the UCA extends almost to the maximum before causing camber issues. The alignment shop did their best to account for this, but when the truck is on level ground right next to the truck in front of it, you can still see the tops of the wheels curve with a touch. The only way to fix this is to 1. get new UCAs for the alignment kit or 2. remove the kit. I'll leave it at that for now and see what I can do with the IWE noise and decide what to do with the UCA, but I recommend anyone looking to level up to get a 2" which is the best route is, and actually align the truck in the right direction.

Pros
  • nice thing
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
