Everything about this level was good except the attachment system (click and lock mechanism) which is too loose to be useful. After leveling my trailer, I followed the easy to read instructions that came with the level to place it on the side of the trailer an inch from the front edge and made sure the built in mechanical level read the level, when I put the glue back to the side. Follower. I then inserted the three screws provided to ensure the mount was secure. After following the instructions to reset the level, the level (or respectively) told me the trailer was level front to back. Then I rotated the level housing to check the level from side to side. Here's where the problem was found: The level showed the trailer was about 1.5 inches off level from side to side, even though the trailer was level. I then discovered that with minimal effort (a simple touch of my finger) I could get the device to register anywhere from 1.5 inches tall on one side to 1.5 inches tall on the other. The problem was that the pairing of the sliding surfaces on the mount and the plane was too sloppy.
