Review on Pirelli Ice Zero 195/60 R15 88T winter by Adam Edison ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

A nice option for the money, one of the best deals.

Rubber goes the second winter on a working Toyota Camry, after a Nokian Hakki 5 that has worked out. I drove 40 thousand in active, but reasonable driving mode: there are no defects, all the spikes are in place, exactly. It rows perfectly well in a snowdrift, on wet snow slush, dry asphalt as well without any complaints. On vitreous ice it tries, copes, but it copes, as it feels, with good spikes, and in terms of the composition of the tire rubber in the "ice" nomination, there are better options, for the same price and more. The sidewall is normal. Compared to the decommissioned Hakka 5, it is a little quieter, sharper in a sharp slippery turn. The second Toyota has a Hakka 7 - tires that are absolutely the same in terms of ability, but at different prices. In general, while positive. Addition: Mileage is already 60 thousand - all the spikes are in place, not worn out. In some places there are small hernias (such roads). Supplement-2: three winters and mileage under 100 . the end of winter in dry asphalt, everything has a limit - it is more than all the others, the most noisy and strongest spikes were crumbled (but did not fly out). The rubber has been scrapped. It is prudent to take it for driving only where asphalt is not visible in winter, under these conditions it will work its best for all 100, there will be no shortcomings, only for these conditions I give it five.

Pros
  • Price quality
Cons
  • Inappropriate, short-lived and uncomfortable only on clean asphalt
