I love the smell of neoprene in the morning.I'm a scuba diver and a serious water skier, so I've spent a lot of time in wetsuits, and this is a nice one. A shorty wetsuit like this is made for use in fairly warm water, just to take the edge off the chill. For any sort of deep diving or water sports in water much less than about 65 F, you would want a full suit with thicker neoprene.The suit has 2mm sleeves and a 3mm body, which is very common for suits like this. It gives you more freedom of movement, along with a little more warmth in the torso.The front zip entry is great for putting the suit on, but the zipper starts a little bit too high at the waist. This makes it difficult to get it off without having someone around to pull it off your shoulders. I'm not going to deduct stars, because this is actually common to a lot of front-zip wetsuits I've used over the years. If that zipper just started a couple of inches lower, though, we would be all set. Designers, take note.Fitting a wetsuit is always a tricky proposition. You want a good snug fit, but you need to breathe in it and be able to get it on and off. Trying it on in a scuba shop, I normally would start with an XL and sometimes end up in a 2XL. However, between the size chart, experience with Asian sizing, and the fact that I am not relying on this suit for really cold water, I went up two sizes to a 3XL. This was a good decision. It fits just right.I'll get a lot of good use out of this wetsuit.
