I used this router to clean the center of a coffee table I built a few years ago. Using a leading edge I was able to remove the old wood to a depth of 3/8 inch. Bearing ran along the inside edge of the leading edge to complete the precision machined edge. This allowed the new center section to be replaced. The attached photo shows the finished middle section.
