Review on powerday by Brandon Baird

It's Not Worth It to Shop at PowerDay's Website

I was eager to peruse PowerDay's e-shop as an adept do-it-yourselfer and collector of remote- and app-controlled vehicles. Unfortunately, my encounter was less than ideal. To begin, there was an extremely limited selection to choose from. Despite the store's claim to specialize on high-quality games, toys, and components, I was disappointed with the selection. You may also forget about tracking down any obscure or hard-to-find things on PowerDay. The products themselves were of poor quality. The quality of the materials and the craftsmanship of the pieces I bought for my RC car were both disappointing. They didn't seem properly built and the pieces didn't fit together. The children's playthings were similarly of low quality. The items were of poor quality and did not last long enough to be used regularly. I gave their app-controlled helicopter a go, and it didn't exactly take to the air. The costs were also excessive. Although I have no problem shelling out more money for superior goods, I cannot recommend anything from PowerDay. Finally, their support staff wasn't really helpful to begin with. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, I received insufficient attention and advice. In general, PowerDay's web store is not one I'd advise using. If you're like app- and remote-controlled vehicles, you can do much better. Don't waste your time here; look someplace else.

Pros
  • Outstanding client service
Cons
  • It is not a reliable source for uncommon or hard-to-find things.
