The bike is a hybrid mount road bike that I use for 6 miles (one way commute to work 5 days a week). I use my phone as a speaker for music and GPS when needed. The mount has three types of pins of different lengths depending on the size of your device. The mount was originally made for a motorcycle but the base is for a bicycle. I use the mount with my Casemate case and it fits perfectly. I bought it from Revain for $41.27 which I consider a steal as I can install all types of equipment and expect it to last at least two to three years with regular use depending on the strength of the material. You can easily remove the mount and arm from the bike so they can't be easily stolen, and you need to screw the base onto the bike. If you happen to buy one the instructions aren't very clear, but the bolts go through the bottom of the holder and the nuts go through the top. In my opinion it is worth the money. You can even buy other bases to fit in your car or other bikes or other places.
