Review on 📚 Rediform Class Record and Roll Book - 40 Sheets, 11x8.5 inches (33988) by Melvin Belton

I am a high school teacher and although all attendance and grades are kept online these days I still use it as an attendance record (especially when there are fire drills or subs ). The book is good but definitely needs improvement. However, given the price, it's hard to complain. I've even bought two of these in the past few years. Pros: does its job. Not flashy but does what you want and for the price it's great value. Cons: If you have a large class like mine (anything of 30 or more) and you're running out of space on each page without really being able to expand this. The top column (the long heading) where I usually write the title or date of the assignment is not broken or segmented in this book, so when writing in this section you have to be very careful when lining them up. to avoid confusion. Over time, the perforation (used to transfer names to other pages) sometimes tears or comes loose, which can cause problems. I would like the outside cover of the book to be a different color or have space to write the class, subject, teacher's name, or year of publication of the book. It would definitely help me keep track of which book is for what. Right now I just stick a piece of tape and write on it, but that would be a nice upgrade. Conclusion: While it seems like there are many downsides, I believe this item is worth the money. You could probably get something nicer, but you'll also likely pay more for it. Given the low cost of this item, unless I find something better, I will likely continue to purchase them over the years.
