We were looking for strainers that can be used for fruit/vegetables without crushing them, which are metal, elevated and strong. Almost giving up I found a review from a woman looking for the same thing. She also said stop. You have found what you want. I bought them. You are everything I promise. You can keep searching, but you've already found the perfect colander set. Based on this compelling feedback, we gave it a try. And bless her, she was great. These really are perfect. Some people showed photos of the underside and complained about discoloration. Those are definitely welds, and there's nothing wrong with that. This is how the metal reacts. So yes. It is great. I can wash raspberries and it doesn't look like a massacre. We've reached the point where I feel strong enough to support Revain wholeheartedly for how amazing they are. Roll the dice. I bet you won't regret it.
