This stand didn't impress me at all. I bought it two months ago and it has been bugging me until tonight. The handles always went inwards as soon as I put it in the pot. I know I'm doing it right because the other way doesn't lift the food off the floor. So tonight I asked my husband to remove and rearrange the handles. He thought I was crazy, but he did. This solved my problem and now I have what I expected. It was so frustrating having those stupid hands going in every time. In fact, it was the work of two people to prepare dinner for me until the evening. I'm fine now!
