Good size for a light duck

Just started giving this to my duck but she definitely dived with pleasure. Bentham ducks can choke on the size of the sand, which is designed for large birds (mine is a Rufus duck, under 1.5 pounds, fully grown). This grit is right for him and seems like a good consistency to get his job done when sanding. cooks food for him. Time will tell how well he continues to digest food, but he's been eating it for a few days and so far so well. Since he's a drake (male duck), he shouldn't have all the calcium that an egg-laying female should have. This grain is good for drakes and females that don't lay eggs because it doesn't contain an additional source of calcium (like oyster shells). his. I also appreciate that it doesn't contain any other additives like other grains like vegetable oil or probiotics. Either way, he gets healthy fats and probiotics in his food, which is also from Scratch and Peck, and I think it's an excellent quality meal. Some other cereals on the market simply list "vegetable oil" in their composition. ". You can't tell me which, what quality. Also, the oil goes rancid, and the sand can be stored for quite a long time. I would prefer my duck to get their oils and probiotics from high quality feed that doesn't stored longer than recommended (as well as all those bugs he can eat in the wild and all that mud tinkering that *should* provide some probiotics from the ground up).
