Review on Farberware Bamboo Cutting Board 14X20 Inch by Veronica Ramos

I've used this a few times and what sets it apart from the other two I've tried and recently threw in the trash is that this board supports. In other words, no cuts/splinters remain after repeated cutting with a very sharp knife from all types of food, reflecting the increasingly difficult protective measures against bacteria such as salmonella with each subsequent use. This board is HEAVY. Heavy and thick enough, it weighs more than if I took the last 2 cutting boards times 2 by 4 (math I know) and it would weigh EVEN more and be just as strong. I had lighter bamboo boards. , and what eventually happens after sufficient cleaning is water seepage and separation along the lines. I don't see this happening to this board for quite a while, if ever, in my life unless I wash it constantly in the dishwasher or use it in high humidity. Give it 5 stars for $29.99.
