Review on Fix Security Light Passlock Issue with APDTY 035812 & 035813 Ignition Lock Cylinder & Starter Switch Housing Combo Kit by Mike Vargas

I just put it on and it works but it's not easy especially when I try to follow the instructions as they aren't crystal clear. Instead of using the words "crank and run," use "starter clutch" instead of "starter clutch disengage." The instructions must include a ban on opening the doors. The instruction must contain information as to whether the new key and the old key can be used. I am currently using the old key for the glove box and trunk doors and the new key for the ignition only. I'm afraid to read how to turn on the alarm for fear it might mess up the ignition so those instructions aren't included so I don't know what to do because I don't know how they interact with each other. I don't know how the new ignition assembly interacts with the BCM or these various alarm systems in the vehicle or the OnStar system. None of this is clear to me and I don't know where to find the information.
