So the reviews looked good and seemed like a quality product, I didn't want to pay $200, local shops and dealers wanted to install them so I thought I'd do it myself . because it's easy enough. Now my lift stays were original and this move really took the pain out of them! But once I did that, I ran into a problem with these replacement parts: the bottom of the strut fitted well, but when I tried to connect the top of the ball joint it didn't have the full range of motion that the original had, so I had to really lift the hood to get the screw into a groove. However, once complete and installed, it lifts nicely and closes easily. But I'm deducting a few stars due to a ball joint issue that not only takes longer but also requires additional work to install. Overall a good product and hopefully you don't have the same problem as me 👍🏻
