The paint just doesn't drip off these pens. I've followed the instructions carefully and even tried different pens out of the box in case the first one turned out to be a bad coincidence, to no avail. Shake the pen before use, then press the tip on the surface several times to create a stream of paint. If you ONLY follow these steps, absolutely nothing will happen after a few minutes of trying. I had to wet the nib with water after trying the above and then hit the nib so hard it damaged its shape before the color came out. And at that moment a thick drop appeared, after which the pen almost immediately stopped flowing again. To be honest I've tried several other brands of acrylic pens and none of them are very comfortable to use. But these are by far the worst I've tried.
