They are very sharp. They work well with intermittent cuts. I got a very good finish when it was brand new and then degraded to a normal finish after 10 seconds of cutting. still works on first corner of all 3. I bought additional inserts with them and expect to cut with them for a long time. If you are a very active hobbyist, they will serve you well.
