Review on ๐Ÿ–จ๏ธ High-Quality Amazon Basics TPU 3D Printer Filament for Additive Manufacturing by Rob Dixon

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Really good TPU! Very well printed for flexibility with Bowden tubing.

When I first started using TPU (another brand) I had a few faulty prints. TPU is difficult to print on Bowden printers! In general, TPU is difficult to print if your machine uses Bowden tubes and the quality will be lower compared to non-Bowden machines! Using my Monoprice Mini Delta with a modified extruder stepper motor setup to work with flexible filament, I was able to print almost immediately! it only took a few partial prints and then I was able to print my Benchy with no problems. I was able to print at 30mm/s, which I thought was too fast. My benchy turned out pretty good for flexible filament. I think I could change the settings to improve the quality, but for now I'm happy with it. You can see in my picture my bank is stretched a bit (not surprising with flex thread) and some are under extrusion. (which I think I can change to make it better) but overall it printed fine for my first flex print. I've printed other things that have come out well, but nothing as complex as Benchy. I'm looking for a flexible thread. If you've never printed with flexible filament before, keep your expectations low. Ha ha. FYI I'm using the latest version of Cura for cutting and compatible with Lego Benchy that I found on Thingiverse. I thought I might give these benches to play with later.
