The part has a metal motor so it can be rebuilt. It was a simple install that took about 40 minutes including all the cleanups. All I can say to make it easier for you is to put both blocks side by side and compare them as there is a slight difference in appearance between the stock plastic block and this new metal motor. Very easy to install. Took me 40 minutes from start to finish. Includes cleaning tool. Look at the part and see what you have where the screws go and you will have no problem installing this. Notice the one sliding screw that helps you set the device in place so you can line up all the other screw holes. Again very easy.
