Review on First Alert ADK 12 Adapter Hardwire by Antonio Rojas

First, it really speeds up switching from networked Kidde smoke alarms to First Alert smoke alarms. Without these adapters, I would have to fish out the wiring in each junction box, loosen the nuts on each Kidde harness, and then thread the nuts onto the factory First Alert harness. Then (the tricky part) slide everything back into each junction box. If I ever wanted to go back to the Kidde modules, I'd have to do all of the above all over again! HOWEVER, I find it strange that First Alert does not offer these adapter plugs in packs of six (6). That matches the "6 packs" smoke alarms they sell. Seriously, who needs 12 of these?
