Disappoints the best heat lamps
Looks solid but smaller than expected. The extension only makes the base taller, not the arm holding the light. So it may be big enough to attach to a 40 gallon tank, but the pod isn't big enough if you're using it with water in a tank for an aquatic turtle. It will not keep the light far enough away from the bathing area. Unfortunately, the ledge that slides under the fish tank is thick so it only fits under the legged fish tank and not flush with the surface it sits on.
