Review on ๐Ÿšฒ Kroozie KroozerCups 2.0 Bike Cup Holder by Mufti Carter

A great pedestal. Assembly quality could be better

This drink holder is quite sturdy and can easily hold a full standard 500ml water bottle. The liner provides a snug fit and it is sometimes difficult to remove the bottle without also removing the liner. I haven't had any issues with it tipping over while riding even though I only put water bottles in it, but it feels sturdy enough to hold more. Due to the tight fit, the bottle does not fall out in the event of impacts etc. There was an elastic band in the kit, but the instructions don't specify what to do with it. I'm assuming it's used for attachment between the handlebar and mount. I had a hard time fitting it where it looked nice so I cut it in half and placed one each on the top and bottom of the handlebar. I believe there was a firmer, non-slip grip when installed. The only complaint I have is similar to another screw review. One side slips and cannot be fully tightened (endless loop). I tighten it all the way "before it slips off and comes loose again" and it seems to work for me. The screws also seemed to have thread damage, but I'm not sure if that's my fault or if it was already there when I got it (not paying attention). For the price of $18 (more than I was willing to pay for a cup holder), I was hoping it would be pristine, but I ultimately went with it because there's nothing else on the market that I like.

Pros
  • One piece stainless steel cup, no welding required, powder coated for maximum durability, available in a variety of colors
Cons
  • Other interesting options are available.
