Do not buy this monitor if you want plain text
This monitor has an anti-glare coating that is stronger than the 5k monitor. If you're in a bright room and don't mind your text being blurry, this is a great monitor. The problem is that I'm in a bright room and I'm working on code 12-16 hours a day. I removed the anti-glare coating from my previous 4k monitor and the clarity on it is just outstanding! You would expect an MSRP of $1400 to do better. If you just want a nice picture, this monitor will do, but it's overpriced.

- Dead Pixels: These are defective pixels that remain black or glow solid on the display.
