Includes a plastic clip that attaches to the seat stays. It worked great. This system keeps the pack higher and more stable than the straps that go all the way to the seat. So there's less chance of your rear tire chafing if you lower your seat and hit a good bump. The only thing I didn't like was that the strap on the back for the bike light was lowered to near the bottom of the pack. So if the backpack tightens the rear wheel, it will most likely knock out the taillight. I cut the seam and sewed the tape back up. Now after my modification it gets 5 stars. I got it not long ago but it looks well made, durable and the zippers look sturdy. Barely big enough to hold a chamber, small pump, mounting levers and a small set of allen keys. So the perfect size.
