I bought this lighter to light the lights for an event. When I received it, I charged and tested it. The first few times the arc was perfect, so I put it off until the actual event (about three days later). About half the time the lighter wouldn't light when I pressed the button on the day of the event. To activate it, I had to tap it with my other hand to make the flexible top flex a bit. Imagine tapping your finger with a stylus, but with a little more force. I ended up ditching this lighter in favor of a traditional flame lighter. I'm not sending it back because it's cheap so I shouldn't waste time looking for a way to box it up for return and ship it back. I would not recommend buying this lighter.
