Review on 4Ft W X 5Ft H XCEL Black Steel Anti-Rust Fence Gate - Easy Installation Kit For Residential, Outdoor, Yard, Patio & Entry Way by Adam Wilson

I had an an old chain link fence gate that just was ugly, old and bent up. Found this on amazon and called Xcel customer service before taking the dive as I was trying to avoid ripping up all the old concrete/posts, excellent customer service from Angelica by the way and another gentleman onsite as I did local pickup. Turns out Xcel had some hinges that might just work, bought the 2 3/8 hinge for round pole and use Xcel's square gate hinge on the other side, couldn't have worked better. Only other issues I ran into was with the latch and distance to my existing pole, just need another 2-3 inches to get the latch to catch, luckily I had a similar stake/large nail that matched the latch diameter, cut it and worked perfect. Bent the latch catch just a little to make it rounded and used the self tapping screws. Finished up the project with some black gloss paint to match everything together, couldn't be happier.I didnt use the posts or plastic hinges that come with the kit, I could see these being the weak point for sure, but keep in mind they do sell these metal hinges that are $14 each, overall I would say for a DIY kit, worked awesome. The instructions could definitely be better, but you have to consider the cost. Quality seems good, hopefully holds up over time. Thank you Xcel!
