Review on Combat Sports Strike Training Gloves by Carlos Reyes

Great price for a great glove

At this price point ($20-25) they're a godsend. These gloves look like they cost about 5x what I paid for them. They look very high quality and at the gym you will surely have people asking what these gloves are and where you bought them. The padding is thick, curved, and the wrist closure provides better wrist support than any similar gloves I've used. Attention, however, they run small, so please choose a larger size if you want them to fit you. I'm S/M in Everlast glove sizes so I bought them my normal size but they were too small for me. When my girlfriend saw them, although she loved them, she tried them on and now they are hers. I ended up buying another pair in size L and they fit perfectly. I don't do MMA so I can't comment on how well they work in wrestling. I can tell you that these gloves give you enough freedom to grab your wrists and ankles and do other activities like jumping rope. I mainly use these for pad thai training with partners so I love these type of gloves as they are easy to put on and take off. If you plan on working with a heavy bag these gloves are fine for short jabs, but if you plan on hitting the bag for a longer period of time then the standard combination of boxing gloves and wraps is your best bet, mainly for extra support , protection and comfort. with these gloves you have to clench your fist to hit properly. The curved padding helps with that, but you'll get tired after a long time. Admit it, regular boxing gloves aren't as cool as these. I am so happy with these gloves that I am considering buying a size XL and trying them with bandages.
