works but.

I live at the bottom of a canyon near San Francisco. Steep hills prevent good VHF reception from a standard dipole or traditional VHF rooftop antenna. With this powerful antenna, I can hear new things and talk over the radio on the left end of the dial (where my stations are) with acceptable clarity. The music reception is still a bit noisy, so I have to switch the receiver to mono. The alleged accuracy of the antenna tuning does not match his claim. However, gain control seems to be the key to reception. I need to tune the antenna when I change channels. Working with the antenna is not at all intuitive, and the manufacturer does not provide installation or usage documentation. I searched the poorly designed Audiovox website and searched for all sorts of phrases like "Q", "Q antenna", "AM/FM". No fun. You can search for the model number but I couldn't find the model number on the box. Eventually I called support and they emailed me a small PDF file. For the price of the antenna, they must provide documentation.
